For horse owners interested in learning natural approaches to working with their horse, Equal Partners Horsemanship has specialized disciplines to address beginner riders, trail riding, and
problem issues your horse may have, such as biting, to support a better riding experience. Training services are provided by a licensed professional as well as other services that include riding lessons and riding clinics.
Private and group lessons are available and may be scheduled for one, two, or three hours. Lessons are available for adults and children with an emphasis on learning the basics in a safe and fun manner. Horses are available for a fee if you don’t have your own.

Under the clear blue skies of Texas, you can enjoy a private trail ride over diverse landscapes with a scheduled reservation at Cross G Ranch Trail Rides. The private ranch has professionally trained horses that know how to navigate the many trails. Riders are also instructed, based on their level of experience, on how to handle the horses and challenges they’ll face on the trail.
Riders with experience can enjoy specific areas where they can use their expertise to canter and trot over many types of terrain, including ravines, valleys, creeks, and wooded areas. Rides are for ages 12 and over and last for either 1 or 2 hours. Water and insulated bags are provided. The ranch is open year-round Monday through Saturday.

Family-owned Shahan Ranch is situated on 230 acres of scenic South Texas Hill Country about 30 minutes from Devine. For horse owners, the ranch offers to board in well-maintained facilities, consulting services, and horse training.
